A Philippine Army reservist discovered a cache of live hand grenades at a public cemetery in Lucban town, Quezon province, the military reported.
In a belated report issued Friday, the Army’s 2nd Infantry Division (2nd ID) said Private First Class Bismarck Floyd Mandaing, a member of the 404th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, was visiting a family grave at the cemetery in Barangay Palola on January 18 when he received information that a suspected explosive device was buried inside a large fallen tree within the burial grounds.
