Thailand once again places its trust in the aunav.NEXT explosive ordnance disposal robot


  • After delivering seven units in 2020, aunav has recently supplied the Asian country more than ten aunav.NEXT robots and aunav.VAN command and control vehicles.

Madrid, May 25 2022 – Thailand once again places its trust in aunav’s robotic solutions. After acquiring seven units of the aunav.NEXT robot in 2020, the Asian country has recently incorporated more than ten robots and command control vehicles to support the work of security forces in several central and northern provinces.

aunav.NEXT is the only robot on the market with two arms capable of acting in synchronicity. Designed and manufactured entirely in Spain, in Aragón, the platform is designed to execute both tasks which require the utmost precision as well as those which require maximum strength.

As such, the robot is capable of lifting up to 250 kilos of weight with one of its arms, while the other is especially designed for tasks which require great dexterity.

As well as robots, the project includes delivery of seven aunav.VAN command and control vehicles, a rapid transport and intervention unit developed to meet the needs of needs of the bomb disposal and CBRN threat teams.

Their presence in the Asian market, which has become a prominent area within its international strategy, has increased recently. As well as these two operations in Thailand, the security forces of Vietnam, China, and India have also acquired robots from the brand. Internationally, aunav has sold more than 200 units in 16 countries worldwide.
