Teledyne FLIR, Unmanned Ground Systems

As the world’s leading unmanned systems supplier, we have delivered battle-tested Unmanned Ground Systems (UGS) to customers in over 55 countries. We design technologically advanced robots in partnership with U.S. and international defense forces, law enforcement, public safety, energy and industrial. Whether it’s a roadside bomb on the battlefield, a suspicious package on the subway, or a potential HAZMAT situation, our robots help keep people safe from any threat anywhere.

Kobra 725:  The powerful, heavy-payload robot.

Kobra 725 provides unmatched strength, power, and payload support. The robot is designed to be a remote operational platform with a manipulator arm capable of lifting heavy loads. Kobra 725 is highly maneuverable in rough terrain and able to climb stairs. The state-of-the-art, IOP-compliant system allows for future payload expansion. Kobra 725 allows easy integration and deployment of a large range of accessories for EOD, CBRN/HazMat, breaching, and other applications.

Centaur: Medium-sized, IOP-compliant robot.

Centaur supports remote monitoring, debris removal, route clearance, casualty evacuation, inspection, and reconnaissance applications. Centaur is the solution to the U.S. Army’s Man Transportable Robotic System Increment II (MTRS Inc II) program of record. Based upon field-proven technology, Centaur remotely operated systems are compatible with Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) and explosives detection payloads for stand-off capability to detect, confirm, and identify hazards like landmines, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices in the path of maneuvering forces.

PackBot 525: Man-transportable, multi-mission robot.

PackBot 525 is the newest iteration of the legendary, field-tested PackBot robot. PackBot 525 upgrades include state-of-the-art HD cameras, improved illumination, optional in-situ charging, the addition of a laser range finder, enhanced accessory ports, and more attachment points for add-on accessories. More capably than ever, PackBot 525 performs bomb disposal, surveillance and reconnaissance, CBRN detection and HazMat handling operations. The robot still lifts up to 44 lb (20 kg) and stows neatly in a vehicle, even fitting in a car’s trunk.

SUGV: The back-packable robot.

SUGV is a rugged, dexterous and expandable solution for operators on the move. Able to be back-packed into dangerous situations, deployed by one person in confined spaces and independent of large vehicles or personnel carriers, the SUGV enters, evaluates or mitigates hazardous situations, providing invaluable situational awareness for all mobile personnel.

FirstLook: The throwable, rugged robot.

FirstLook is a throwable, rugged, and expandable robot that provides immediate situational awareness, performs persistent observation and investigates dangerous and hazardous material while keeping its operator out of harm’s way. FirstLook allows operations where other robots can’t fit or maneuver. This rugged, lightweight robot can be inserted into structures and provides operators with visual, audio, and sensor feedback before entry. The robot climbs small obstacles, overcomes curbs, turns in place and self-rights when flipped over.
