The son of a tribal elder was killed in a remote controlled IED attack on his car in Lower South Waziristan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Police told The Express Tribune that in the Wana tehsil of South Waziristan an IED targeted the vehicle of prominent tribal elder Malik Jamil Toji Khel, resulting in the death of his young son. According to police, Malik Jamil’s vehicle was targeted with a remote-controlled IED in the Kari Kot area. As a result of the explosion, Malik Jamil Toji Khel, Malik Abdul Rasheed, Gulzada, and Muhammad Ullah were injured and transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
