Cyprus: Two brothers arrested in Limassol for explosives, cannabis


Police in Limassol have taken into custody two brothers after finding firecrackers and improvised explosive devices in a house in Ypsonas.

The two, aged 24 and 29, were arrested late on Monday afternoon after police conducted a search of their residence, based on a court warrant. During the search carried out in the presence of the tenants, police found a shoulder bag containing four factory firecrackers, three improvised explosive devices, and a plastic bottle with a flammable substance.
