Air Force Reserve Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians joined Air National Guard EOD technicians at Volk Field Air National Guard Base for Audacious Warrior 2019, an annual exercise that provides EOD Airmen with classroom and scenario based training that they may not be able to get at their respective home stations.
In the past, Air Force Reserves conducted a similar training which focused on domestic operations, Patriot Warrior. This is the first year the Reserves joined the Air National Guard in Audacious Warrior, which focuses on domestic operations as well as operations in a deployed environment.
By training together, the EOD technicians are able to share best practices and learn from one another.
